Sarah Wilson

Sarah is an adoption and surrogacy attorney based out of the Des Moines, Iowa area. Sarah established her law firm with a focus on assisting clients in growing their families. Sarah began practicing in the areas of assisted reproductive technology and family-building law early on in private practice, alongside a mentor. The rewarding nature of this work and wonderful clients led her to build a practice in these areas. She previously practiced primarily in the areas of adoption, surrogacy, and health law at a large firm in Des Moines. Following law school and before entering private practice, Sarah clerked for the District Court Judges in the Iowa Judicial Sub-District 2B.

Sarah is originally from central Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University for her undergraduate education. For several years prior to returning to school to begin her legal career, Sarah worked in the health care industry in South Carolina, where her husband served in the Marine Corps. Sarah later returned to her home state of Iowa to earn Juris Doctorate and Master of Healthcare Administration degrees from Drake University Law School and Des Moines University, graduating in 2017.

Beyond her legal practice, Sarah is passionate about giving back to the community by volunteering and serving on boards and committees for non-profit organizations. Sarah also enjoys spending time with her husband and rescue dog doing many outdoor activities and cheering on their favorite football teams.
