Regine Peters

Regine Peters – Iowa State University/Highergies. Peters is from Windhoek, Namibia and lives in Des Moines, IA. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics with a Minor in Psychology, in 2020 and currently works at Iowa State University with the Ronald E. McNair Program. Peters enjoys learning, especially drawing connections between new things she learns with everything she has already learned, creating a map of thoughts that she enjoys sharing with people. She is interested in growing and putting her strategic thinking skills in practice through her co-business, Highergies as a statistical consultant. 

Peters is currently the grant and fundraising chair and will be working on collecting metrics of success and statistical data for Latina Leadership Initiative. Outside of work she enjoys reading, outdoor activities, creating crafts with her hand such as polymer earrings, and spending time with her loved ones.
